Model KDL40S3000

Forgot the head phones were hooked up to tv and tripped over cord, breaking the jack plug in half.
Havent been able to get broken part out.
Is there a way of bypassing headphone port so internal speakers can resume working?

Tony

This is a European model# with scart connections? Most likely its soldered to the board.

The easiest and least expensive way is to go to page 16 and look a "H". Buy a soundbar that comes with a remote that plugs into these holes.

Just in case you don't know what one is, here is a link to one:

Take a pin or wire with some super glue on the tip, glue it to whatever is left of the plug. As long as you get some adhesion you'll be able to pull it out. You might have to cut the tip off a pin to get some more surface area and of course be careful you don't glue it to the unit.

That guy stole my idea. He has a good method there to prevent the glue from sticking to the unit using a straw.
