So, our well-used Vizio remote control has finally bit the dust, I guess. New batteries won't help. We can't even turn the TV off, except by unplugging the TV.
Can we go buy a new Universal remote at Wally World? Or, because it is a Smart TV, should we get a Vizio remote? Does anyone know where they sell them in a large American city? We would rather go in person and buy it than order on-line.
We do not have cable or satellite TV, just the old-fashioned kind.
Assuming we do find one locally, is there any specialized programming required? It has been so long since we've done this I can't remember. Do we have to put in our Wifi password? Will anything else be needed?
