In fact, that puts me in the mood for some pizza tonight.
Who makes the best pizza in Cookeville?

I have not had a good pizza in years.

That's sad to hear but then it was hard to find a good pizza joint in southern California. Sometimes you find good pizza in the oddest places. One of the best pizza's I ever had was back in the 70's from a bowing alley snack bar in New Mexico. This was on a Air Force base but they had killer pizza that people would come and get without even bowing.

I don't know, I guess it depends on one's definition of "good" pizza. I like what they have at World Foods, and I've always liked Mama Rosa's pizzas.

World Foods & Mama Rosa's, I like them both. Haven't had it in a while but a lot of people like Gondola. And I know it's a chain but we really liked the new Marco's pizza in the Kroger shopping center.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about Gondola. I should try them again. I used to love going to Gondola back when they were near Tech (where Bobby Q's is now) and their pizzas were cut into little squares. It may not be authentic NY style pizza, but who cares? It's still good.

Not sure how reliable the source, but rumor is that Cookeville is finally getting a Panera Bread store...complete with drive-thru.

I've heard the same thing, from the employees at the Mt Juliet location. No clue on a location though.
