It sounds and I am hoping that this is just an accident, but you never know. Anyhow, prayers for those that are injured. Looks pretty bad, REPORTS of 100 possibly injured as of right now and windows of buildings a mile away blown out.

Hope no fatalities.

They are trying to evacuate the whole town of West, Tx right now.
Over 100 injuries were already taken to the hospital in Waco.
Looks to be way more than that are still at the scenes of triage units set up.
They believe there is another tank that has not exploded and have tried to back up everyone.
There have been smaller "explosions" and my guess would be those would be houses
with gas leaks if the gas has not been shut off. I'd think they have shut it off but who knows.

Schools in West have been cancelled for the remainder of the week.

April 19th marks the 18th anniversary of the OKC bombing.

Word is there are over 60 dead from this.
Heard the nursing home nearby was hit hard.

I heard that part of the nursing home collapsed. Also, they fear that there are people trapped in the plant.

Reports that the first responders to the scene at the initial fire at the plant are reported missing.

Most are volunteer firefighters in these areas. Prayers for their families and the community.

I'd assume this is an accident till proven wrong. A terrible coincidence datewise. Fertilizer plants could blow up; it is conceivable.

Not sure what point would be made by blowing up a fertilizer plant in west TX.

So sorry the community suffers in this.

It doesn't look like a likely target for sure of terrorist.Had a refinery fire nearby but not even close to trrorism unless you have a conspiracy type mind.

April 19th also marks the end of the Waco Siege/Massacre.

Interesting that the siege took place in Elk, Texas which according to google maps is 21 minutes away from Waco, Texas.

West, Texas is also 21 minutes away from Waco according to google maps.

Unrelated, this is very coincidental so soon after the Boston Bombing. It could very well be an act of sabotage by sympathizers of the anti-government and related movements.

Let's please remember that this is a fertilizer plant so any accident could be horrific and not jump to conclusions.
