I'm 44 and I still ride my bmx bikes. I collect vintage 80's freestyle bikes and lately that stuff is becoming real expensive on ebay! Even parts are getting expensive!
Where a lot of people are incorrect is that the bike is not too small for the rider. While they may not be taking them off any sweet jumps every time you see them, they could be learning flatland or on the way to a dirt park. Look up flatland bike on YouTube and tell me anyone non drugs could manage to do any of it. I rode well into my 20's, until I found my love for jet skis. I get funny loons all the time because I ride a stand up ski. Oh, I didn't know they still make those. Or, why are you riding a kid's ski? People assume too much.
I"m restoring my Schwinn Stingray that I bought 45 years ago,and when I'm finnished I plan on riding it.I am as tall now as I was then.Only 40 pounds heavier.
Laugh thats ok it was fun then.

Some people like bmx bikes, they may not use them as intended- so the hell what? I guess the next topic is why so many people ride mtb's and never take them offroad. Or those with road bikes who dont race them or those with track/fixies who never roll tire in a velodrome. It's effing preference. Nomatter who they are as a person if they bike more power to them. So what if my mtb will never see offroad, or a bmx will never see a bowl, you aint riding it, so shut up.
Dang it! I need to check my security settings on my Facebook photo albums!
