Just stopped by to see if the journal was still going. May be back tomorrow although it will be a bingo food day. That means I will be having a gravy biscuit for lunch because that is what I won in bingo the last time I played.

We bought bananas today so breakfast tomorrow morning will be a banana, yogurt, and a cup of coffee and milk. I wonder what dinner will be? Maybe tomato soup because we will be late getting home from bingo and I have to get to bed because I have a doctor's appointment early Wednesday morning.

I had a wonderful dinner last night.
Marinated chicken breast--roasted it in the oven in a covered container until the meat was just falling apart. I like my meat fully cooked. It was delicious.
Frozen green beans cooked with a pork chop for seasoning. I then took all the bones and fat from the pork chop and pulled the meat apart and put it back into the beans--good too.
Martha White cheese garlic biscuits--yum, yum
Coffee and milk
I had sliced a tomato and a cucumber to go with this, but I only had about a bite of each.

I had a chicken bologna sandwich for lunch with sliced onion, so by dinner I was ready for some good food. Coffee and milk to drink with this.

I had a granola sweet and salty peanut bar for a nighttime snack.

Back to the normal breakfast
strawberry Dannon light and fit yogurt
banana
coffee and milk

Izzy, I think you would like the chicken breast that I used 2 T. each to marinate with Italian free dressing. I added another 2 T. each when I put them in the oven to bake and baked them for about 1/2 hour uncovered and then about another hour covered at 400 degrees. I timed the biscuits to get done about the same time as they did. The chicken breasts were huge and older so I cooked them in the liquid marinate a little extra time to make them tender. Part of mine is still in the refridgerator meat drawer. I couldn't eat it all.

We went to Red Lobster last night for dinner because I just was not in the mood to cook.
They gave me four flounder fillets and I can never eat more than one fillet at a time and have a hard time getting it down, so two of those will be Mr. VA's lunch today and I will eat the other one.

I made the mistake of ordering french fries. They were the thin ones and I really prefer steak fries, so next time it will be baked potatoes for me.

I had ordered a salad there before and they serve those salads that have that funny preservative taste. I forgot and ordered it again. I hope I remember to order slaw the next time.

The only thing I really liked were the biscuits. I could eat them all day. Waitress was good though.
