Good morning Jeannie,NCN,Diana,Steve,Autumn.

Jeannie hope hubby's feeling better.

NCN-no fire ants couldn't survive here but we have mosquitoes as big as birds.

Chilly here it's 56 and going to 70 but tonight mid 40's, too early for this.

Usual yogurt.

Good morning, Autumngal, Diana, Jeannie, Judi, and Steve.
Judi I have heard about your mosquitoes. A friend went on vacation to your part of the world and told us about starting to go outside her camper and being attacked by an army of them. She just closed the door and stayed inside. I think that would be gross! Some things about where we live, we just don't talk about. Everyplace has its problems.

I look out in my yard and it looks so pretty. Who would think there are critters and bugs out there ready to attack. When I went to my bil's home a few weeks ago we had yellow jackets trying to share our drinks. They started apologizing and I said, "Well if you make a place nice for us, you make it nice for the bugs too." That is just a fact of life. Yellow jackets don't drink much!

I think I am relaxing a little too much. Just listen to this breakfast or probably brunch.
scrambled eggs
biscuits
molasses with butter twirled into it and eaten with the biscuits
Coffee and milk
Banana--have to have at least one healthy food!

You are making us jealous, Judi. I love jean and sweatshirt weather. 60 is just about perfect.

biscuits and a cucumber--slice the cucumber lengthwise and put it in a biscuit.

I am planning biscuits and gravy for dinner. I know, just look over me. I'm hopeless!

My husband had ham and cucumbers for lunch and he will have fish and broccoli for dinner. I am the one on a biscuit binge.

recipe: 2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Stir together and drop on a seasoned pan. I used a 9 X 13 and it just filled it up. Lot of biscuits still left.
400 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Simple but fattening and oh so good.

I will talk at you Monday. Many more things to do today. Gotta get off here.

Is it cool already there Judi? I am sure pretty soon the leaves will start changing colors. That's what we don't have very much of here. Maybe somewhere near the Northern side of California.

I have some cucumbers too,so I am shredding the cucumbers and carrots mix some peanut sauce add some already stir fried hanburger meat added to the noodle. This is a Chinese Noodle. It is usually made cold. Popular among Chinese, there are many varieties. You can use pork too.
