Dover, DE - Score 97.6 - William Pentland - Forbes

According to forbes, Dover is the 2nd most prepared city in the country for disaster readiness!
Too bad the article doesn't give reasons or how they came to the rating conslusions...at least I haven't found a reason yet.

My coworkers and I were wondering the same thing. Flood? Hurricane? Some sort of attack on the base maybe? Maybe the base is the reason Dover is ranked so high.

Easy, cause Dover isn't a city, if it was city then it would be ranked 6th!!!!!!

I'm glad you see it my way, James.

Maybe a plague of locusts from nearby farm field? Or a plague of frogs from the St Jones River?

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

But seriously, I do wonder what the likeliest disaster scenarios for Dover would be...

Definitely a zombie attack. DAFB could launch an air-based defense.

But DAFB has no combat aircraft. Wouldn't airborne anti-zombie efforts have to come from the Delaware Air Guard wing located at New Castle County Airport?

Hm... Good point. Maybe because they'd all flock to Where Pigs Fly to eat instead of eating the humans, thus giving everyone more time to combat them?

Actually if the zombies ate the customers at Where Pigs Fly that would kill two birds with one stone. Awesome pork plus human flesh, zombie paradise if you ask me.
