On Conan O Brien's show, Aubrey Plaza said she used to party there. Apparently, one night, she and her friends found some drunk guys and invited them over to do some sort of Chippendales-like routine.

Sound WILD!

I had some crazy fun times at the Rudder back in my 20's. Dewey was really wild back then (90's- 2000-ish). I still go there when they have afternoon/evening events, but no more drinking and dancing until one a.m. anymore for this middle-aged lady.

Liz, let me know if you hear anything about them having an Elvis Contest this year at the Rudder. We went to a few of those, years ago, and they were fun!

Ok! Will do. Let me know if you hear anything about the Rudder having their Oktoberfest/Beer and Pretzel Festival this year. Last time was 2019 and they don't really promote it. It was SO much fun and only $10/person for all you can eat/drink pretzels and local craft beer along with great entertainment. I was pretty toasted and had a blast dancing to the oompah band. It was seriously one of the most fun events I've been to in years. It's the little things, right?!?

I will put my sister on the case. She has a tiny place by the Starboard. Also I know a few people from working with the Int'l students, so I will see if I can get the 411 on this for you two dancing ladies.

Thanks, Nuts! They lied. The Elvis impersonators are booked, and have been for a few years, in Lancaster, PA. They found a new home and have very nice party/hotel packages. I've been to a couple of those, but not in the last 4 years. I'll have to dig out the latest postcard I rec'd.
