I had an eye tooth (fang) extracted about 2 weeks ago. A few days after, I was running a low grade fever. The dentist put me on a 7 day course of antibiotics.
For the past few days it has been feeling like my gums are "full". Today I sucked on the area a little bit and some blood came out. Gums have been extremely tender around extraction site. I have been rinsing with salt water. Today however I was looking up extraction site cleaning and noticed you could irrigate extraction site. Well I went ahead and did that and it's like the extraction hole has closed up almost immediately after I irrigated it. Which I thought was really really weird. It feels better after I irrigated it but still have this full feeling in my gums and why it closed up so quick after irrigating It?
