Hello,
Anyone familiar with DMO vs PPO dental policies?
I know DMO give you limited choices of dentists and you would need a referral whereas PPO gives you more options. There is a $750 difference between the 2 and we have a high deductible health insurance with an HSA.

How hard is it to get into a DMO dentist?
Anyone has experience with either one of them?

Thanks a lot
Sobb

The DMO pays the dentist a small set fee per month for each patient covered by the DMO. The dentist has to provide services for that low amount. The DMO therefore incentivizes the dentist to do the least and cheapest care possible with the cheapest materials. Is this really what you want?
