I'm not sure why you think I want to argue, it's a simple question of what you were expecting to pay. When people complain a fee is too high, they can rarely come up with a reasonable alternative fee for some reason. This is often because they don't know what's actually involved. When I have patients try to convince me to do something I don't want to do or take an unusual risk such as taking responsibility for someone else's work, I often double my fee. They will either go elsewhere, or they pay it. Either result is acceptable.
