#16 - We're not all cowboys/mountain hicks
#17 - It's normal to use the A/C one day and the heater the next
#18 - $1,000 for a 1 BR apt wasn't always a "good deal", unless you lived downtown
#19 - Weed was plentiful throughout the state BEFORE it was legalized (Err, uhh, so I hear)

Go ahead, seal your entire home in duct tape and shrink wrap — they WILL find a way in. And regardless of how dead they seem, they will explode to life, fly directly into your face, then carry off your children.
Did they lie?

How about Boulder?

Thanks! ;-)
You can see the mountains from everywhere in the Denver metro area, as long as you are looking West, if you are looking east than all you get to see are the plains.

Colfax is something that cannot be explained, one must experience it.

Same could be said about Casa Bonita.

Default Don't move here says Huff Post

Then they give 15 reasons Denver is awesome.

15 Reasons You Should Never, Ever Visit Denver

My favorite? It's a toss between voodoo donuts (I prefer Glazed & Confused) and Red Rocks.

No mention of Elitches.

Glad to see the altitude issue mentioned. My in-laws used to take me to the mountains on day two when I visited years ago and then were completely unsympathetic to my subsequent altitude sickness. My MIL...she's a treat. Anyway, when I moved here a decade ago, I vowed I would never do that to my friends and family when they came for a visit, no matter how much they wanted to see the view from Mount Evans during their three-day weekend trip to our fair state.

If you don't drink a ton of water and use lotion, you can easily end up dead and everyone around you will have that look on their face that says, "I told you so!" Born and raised here and I tell folks this all of the time.
