I don't recommend commuting from Castle Rock , I lived there, it is a nightmare commute in the winter on I25 . I would try Littleton .

The Centennial area near Fiddler's Green has some of the highest Asian population in its schools that can be found anywhere in the Denver area.

Thank you. I don't have to be around Asians but I just don't want to be in a neighborhood where the music will stop when I walk into a bar.

Thank you. Did you end up in Aurora. I hear bad things about Aurora, but it's so large there has to be some good pockets too.

Don't worry it's not like that. There is also a decent population of Vietnamese people in southwest Denver proper.

Southeast aurora is nice and it good school areas. The majority of Aurora sucks though, its generally the "bad" part of town from what I can see (its obvious just driving through).

As far as being Asian, I cant imaging you would have an issue. There are plenty of others, as long as your not driving down the street rattling peoples windows with the bass from your car or throwing wild house parties every night (which I dont think race would have ANYTHING to do with your neighbors not liking you then).

I would say the minority of Aurora sucks. The vast majority is very nice.

Compared to what exactly? North Aurora near Colfax is the older part of the city, and a little more weathered compared to all the new development going up. But the vast majority of Aurora down south and out east has a lot of relatively new development. As far as bad part of town, I can think of a lot worse areas in the metro. Aurora is essentially a "working class" suburb; not quite the ghetto.

Since there's not much room to expand west, most of Aurora is going to see an uptick in demand for housing. East Colfax is already being gentrified.

No more of Aurora is bad than Denver or Lakewood. Any of the similarly sized cities have older areas that aren't as nice. Most of Aurora is quite nice.
