I look sexier in humid climates.

Better skin and hair, and I don’t get 1-3 bloody noses a day.

I hate being hot though, so I’ll deal with being ugly and bloody. Haha

I find once I turn the heater on and put the winter blanket on the bed for winter, I tend to sometimes have a dry mouth at night and need to drink water. And sure, occasional lotion/chap stick use. That's about it for me.

Dry skin, dry eyes which all seems to get worse every year. I find I sleep better in lower elevations and more humid climates.

We installed a steam humidifier in our furnace. It helps but not a ton.

For the 5 1/2 years we lived south of Denver (Englewood and Parker), we didn't have any problem with winter dryness. When we returned to Colorado, this time in the northern part, we bought three portable humidifiers. One is small and the other two are larger. We keep a good supply of distilled water on hand. My wife is 73, has some asthma, and takes an OTC med for it. The humidifiers help her breathe much, much better. Don't run them during the summer, but when it comes to winter season, like now, they are all three filled with water and going.

Makes a huge difference! Well worth the expense.

We run a whole house humidifier all year round. A little less in summer, more in winter. It’s less than $1000 to add on to your HVAC system. It runs on its own. Some only work when the furnace runs. It feels noticeably softer in the house. Static goes away and your wood floors/furniture will love it. Eyes don’t seem as dry.

Yes, dehydration, a constant companion of your Colorado lifestyle. Dry air > dry sinus tissues > congestion > mouth breathing > dry mouth > saliva production > dehydration.

Denver's dry air makes it almost impossible to wear contact lenses. My eyes dry out the lens sticks to the eyeball, becoming itchy and hard to remove. In humid climates, I have no problems with this.
