I miss it, I want it! any chance I can buy live crawfish by pounds in around the Canton/Westland area? heck, I'll drive to Detroit to get some. I want to get a bag of 25 lbs at the minimum.

So, I called the place and they said "no crawfish at this time of the year"... I'm guessing due to the temperature, the crawfish season is different up here?
ColdJensens: is it easy to catch crawfish? I have never done it before. what time of bait? trap? best time of year?
If it's not obvious... I'm from TX and this is my first year in Michigan

Try any Fish market in Detroit. The one I go to on Gratiot between 7 Mile & State Fair is nice and has crawfish. I don't know if you'd want to drive that far though. There are a couple on the westside of the city closer to you, one on 8 Mile comes to mind.
