Our niece lived just north of 8 mile. Three months after moving in, two guys kicked in the door, took all the electronics (while she was home with her two year old daughter.)

Lol it's always funny when somebody wants to argue about a very specific area with somebody who spends alot more time in the city than they do. Bottom line... that neighborhood in Ferndale is fine. Sorry somebody got to the house before you op.

Its the less glamorous, trendy or artsy area of Ferndale. But its not a real high crime area. For that matter, neither is the far west side near Royal Oak Twp.
