Both of those lists have validity, however, it's important to understand the differences of the underlying data.


The first list is examining the growth of the labor market. Seeing which places have added the most jobs along with who saw their wages grow the most from 2017 to 2020 percentage wise.

The second list is measuring how many job openings there are versus the relative cost of living.
