My doctor said the opposite... that I should NOT take it on an empty stomach (eat a light meal within the hour prior), and to also drink orange juice with it. Interesting.

And to answer OP, I take it on Monday nights. Just happens to be when I got the first prescription filled, and I was too anxious to wait. I work a Sunday-Thursday schedule, so perhaps it would have been a better idea to wait until Thursday nights. But my side effects have been minimal (hardly anything now that I'm in month 3), so it doesn't really matter to me anyway. I get some random hunger pains and slight nausea in the first couple of hours, and then I'm fine.

Take Ozempic ® once a week, on the same day every week, exactly as prescribed by your health care provider. You can take Ozempic ® with or without food. You may change the day of the week you use Ozempic ® as long as your last dose was taken 2 or more days before. Your once-weekly routine with Ozempic ®

I also read an article recently that said to take Ozemoic on Tuesdays. Rationale is that taking it Tuesdays gives you best coverage over the weekend when most people tend to overeat (This was after ny post above)

I've been doing Monday evenings. The rational being that my worst cramping, etc and insomnia happens two evenings after. And Thursday morning are the best day for me to deal with it.
