20yrs - You say that you are in generally good health. When was the last time you had a check up or had any blood work done? If it is recently, then what were your results? You say that you are in pain and have difficulty getting across the street - do you have any other condition that we need to be aware of?

I too have battled weight all of my life. From what I read there are certainly changes you need to make and, as some have said, they need to be gradual life changing habits.

First,, do you cook at all? Where do you buy your food? That will be the first step. Second, do you exercise? If you have joint pain the best thing you can do is get in the water. Join a water arobics class or just get in the pool and walk in the water for 10 minutes to start.

Please feel free to DM me. I have no pain now. I have gone to a low glysemic plan. Very low fat and make very certain AND THIS IS IMPORTANT, that the meat I eat is natural - no hormones or antibiotics - this is critical. Whole wheat, lots of grains.
