Who has these adorable, wonderful dogs? I am on my 3rd and 4th ones -
Murphy - age 6 - oversized - 57 pounds - male and Madison - age 2 - the sweetest, gentlest little girl - 17 pounds - undersized.

They do everything together. Great company for each other!!

they said mine was a sheltie but I'm convinced he's an Aussie ...maybe a little sheltie in there. Awesome dogs. Had one as a child.
I'm making my way through the herding breeds. had a sheltie ,collie and now a Aussie(of sorts)

Cody is 19 pounds!

I don't own one, but I dog walk and sit for a couple who own one. Her name is Millie and she'll turn 12 this may. She's a sweet heart!

Smile Shelties

That Millie is beautiful and she doesn't look 12. My first Sheltie lived almost to 14. His name was Rascal and he lived up to his name every day.

They are my babies. Sometimes, I love them more than my real kids!!
(He, he)

They certainly are smart and beautiful. I'd love an older Sheltie mix mutt.

I have Wendi...my second. She's almost nine and she's as smart and sweet today as she was when I first got her. I know there are breeds that are more trainable but I think shelties can read your mind. Wendi waits and watches...until I DO something or ask her to DO something. She lives to DO for me. If I'm away from home, she'll bond with hubby, but she's MINE.

My first one was a rescue from a pet shop and I NEVER EVER want anyone to buy from a pet shop...but she had been there for six months and I had to get her out of there. I named her Shelly and there's a story to go with her. I only had her for a couple of months; she had been so inbred and mistreated that she had kidney probs and I had to put her to sleep in Dec of 99. I was so enthralled with the breed that I had to have another one...and that led me to a breeder who had wendi and her parents on the premises.

Wendi is larger than the breed standards but I think that's because she has a heart that needs more space.

shes beautiful ...funny haircut!

I can tell u love your doggie! My favorite shelties are the larger ones. I say this as I own a aussie/sheltie mix that is only 20 pounds and 16 inches tall. HE stole my heart as a pound pup and we are in love.

That's her summer cut; we're learning to do it ourselves and hoping she'll eventually not be embarrassed to go out. It ain't easy but the groomers here are backed up til forever in the summer months.

I love watching the aussies and border collies do their work. Totally amazing stuff!!! I guess, along with shelties, they're usually the fastest at agility.

mines a little free spirited.
He can learn the obstacles so quickly our trainer was mad at me(hehe) but when we are at a trial chasing another dog in a obstacle is way more fun!!!!
