CHICAGO (AFP) - A cuddly Boston Terrier who disappeared from his back yard four years ago turned up more than 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) away.

Mickey looked a little gray around the whiskers and didn't remember his name when he got off a plane and crawled into the arms of his owner Tuesday.

But that made no difference to Kari Mitchell who fought back tears in the Kansas City, Missouri airport Tuesday.

"How did you get to Montana? It's cold up there!" she said as she caressed her long lost dog.
