Mod chiming in - Great idea! I've made this thread a sticky. New members may NOT post active links. Your posts will be deleted./

My kids love to work on educational games on the smartboard when they first come in my room in the mornings, sort of a center. We work on:

ABCya.com
and
RoomRecess.com

quite often. What are some kids sites you use?

Just off of the top of my head, I am linking this to my favorite game on there, which is very addictive, but there is lots of great stuff on here. U.S.A. States - Level Three - Online Learning

I love the link to the ixl math site too, but after they give you a free sample they require you to pay. I do think it would be worth it though.

We have IXL at my school the kids love it, and they love earning the badges.

We also use study jams a current favorite is the Types of line karaoke. We made up arm movements to go with the words. They love it, and ask to sing it daily. Education city is also really good (pay site). Multiplication.com (free) and eduplace.com (free) have a lot of fun stuff . My students love the online word sorts at http://www.eduplace.com/

If your library has a subscription, these are great sites: TumbleBooks - eBooks for eKids! e-books for kids and TBC: Read Watch Learn There are usually links from your libraries website if you can't access them from my links.

Adding the OP's links: ABCya.com | Kids Educational Computer Games & Activities and RoomRecess.com - Educational Games for Kids

We are working on beestar. Exercises are short so DD is more willing to do the work and she likes the honor roll, ranking, award program very much.
