xoe and the dems are about as popular as a fart in church.

Democratic strategist James Carville warned Sunday that the Democratic Party’s eroding numbers among young minority voters are “horrifying” heading into the presidential election.

“I’ve been very vocal about this,” the former Bill Clinton campaign strategist said on his “Carville’s Classroom” podcast. “It’s horrifying our numbers among younger voters, particularly younger blacks, younger latinos … younger people of color. Particularly males.”

“We’re not shedding them, they’re leaving in droves,” he added.

Latinos may be leaving the Democratic party for this presidential election to some degree, but blacks will not leave in any great numbers that matter for this election. It's always predicted, but it never really happens. Like never.

i have yet to see anyone predict that 'great numbers' of blacks would leave the D party.

in any case, it wouldn't require great numbers to sway an election, especially when you have larger proportions of hispanics turned off with the D party.

In a close race, it doesn't have to be "great numbers". With the two major issues being the economy and the infestation of illegal aliens/fake asylum seekers, this impacts people of all races and ages.

From what I have been reading, middle-income people under age 45 are, overall, hurting much more from this period of inflation than any other group, regardless of race or skin color. It is no wonder that they would compare their lives now with what their lives before Biden took over.

And, yes, the response to COVID has much to do with the continued inflation, and the Democrat politicians had much to do with that, and I think that almost everyone knows that. Yes, Trump was in office for almost a year after COVID hit, but Biden kept the COVID checks coming regardless of actual need in many cases -- and then, of course, there were many shortages of various kinds, which only added to inflation.

Sure, many people have a larger net worth now due to the increase in property values and some stocks, but many of the younger people who are still paying rent are hurting -- and the more intelligent of them know who is to blame (and it is not just property owners who will not take $400k for a home if they can get $600k for it, or who will charge only $1,500 a month for rent if they can get $2,000).

right. pulling 10-15% of votes that used to go to dems means subtracting that from [D] and adding it to [R]. that was my point about 'great numbers' being something that sounds like someone just made it up.

The far left is more concerned with drumming up virtually non-existent hate crimes than they are with heavily prevalent and all-too-real street crimes. In essence, the left is all about optics. Results don't matter.

If anything they want quality of life to be worse in almost every respect so that they can have something to complain about in order to psyop people into voting for them. It's all about emotion over logic, rhetoric and semantics over reality.

Young people and traditionally DNC demographic groups are catching on to the fact that 70 years of promises have been made, but 0 results have been delivered.

You're not even necessarily adding votes to "R". Subtracting them from "D" is more than enough to cause them concern. At the end of the day it's about enthusiasm to drive people to the polls.

Fortunately the DNC has a few Penske trucks in key districts to deliver boxes to the back door.

I suggest you do some research on the last 4 national elections. Blacks voting for Republicans has gone from 4% to 12% in the last 4 national elections. That is a 300% increase of black votes since 2016.

Most current polls say Blacks voting Republicans will likely double from 12% in 2022's election, to 24% in 2024's November 5th election.

If that happens, & the polls are right about the Latino and young persons votes, the Dems are in for a "horrifying" election.

James Carville is a well-respected Dem-leaning political analyst/consultant. David Axlerod, another Dem strategist, has also tried to sound the DNC's alarm of bad polling results. The New York Times is another major left leaning entity sounding the alarms.

I'm still predicting that the DNC will replace Joe Biden as their leading candidate at the August 19th DNC Convention in Chicago.
