I was actually considering investing in these guys, thank goodness I didn't pull the trigger. The share price peaked at nearly $1600, and now it's under $1.
"Originally its shares were backed by Hyundai, Kia, and UPS, with the company built on the promise of more efficient EV production thanks to micro-factories churning out buses and delivery vans for Uber and UPS."

The market of "green technologies" of all kinds, is very volatile. There is a very long list of the supposedly "green" technologies' companies sponsored by the Government that have gone belly-up in recent years. But these reports are being taken out of the spotlight in the search engines.

Hi Ray - the whole field is indeed very dynamic/in flux - I'd say that's because it's new. Also, while I agree that a number of EV companies have gone bankrupt or are in trouble, I don't know if this rate of failures is any greater than any other tech startup failure rate? For example, I have been in two drug startups myself that failed - that's what happens to most of them, actually.... and I am currently in a startup that was recently acquired by a Big Pharma - change, for better and for worse, is kind of the norm in the startup scene.
That's too bad. That's pretty much how startups in rapidly advancing fields go unfortunately. I do wonder if there are any core technologies or patents they have, and if so, who that ultimately gets shopped out to. I know Proterra ended up selling its battery business to Volvo Group. I'm wondering if a big name will come in and swoop these up.

I think its the space aliens that are taking the reports out of search engines, LOL. No one is taking anything out of search engines, it doesn't work that way.
