Rivian has won another $827M in state incentives to enhance and expand their manufacturing plant in Normal, IL. Rivian will itself be investing an additional $1.5B and is expected to add another 550 jobs there. The principle goal of this expansion is to add production capacity for the upcoming R2 models.
