my favorite are two I paid money to see and would do so again: Lewis Black and Sinbad. Both so different yet so hilarous.
Lewis Black does use profanity, which doesn't bother me at all and he's so knowledgeable about so many topics. He is indeed the angry comedian. I laughed until my sides and throat hurt.
The other end of the spectrum is Sinbad. No bad language and so so very funny. He seemed to ad lib a lot and the results were again side splitting laughter.
I would love to see Kathy Griffen. Her show cracks me up.

Eddie Murphy back in the 80's. He was the best. He might do a comeback tour.

I haven't seen him in person but I do have "Delirious" and "Raw" on DVD-funnnnnnnnnnny stuff and for those who haven't seen them-some of it is Xrated language wise.
Would love to have seen Bill Cosby in his younger days.

I really liked the humor of Mitch Hedberg. He just seemed like a regular guy who had bad timing for punchlines, but was a very gifted comic. I miss him.

I'd say George Carlin would be my favorite of all time, though. Not an easy choice!
