What do you use for watching movies as they are recently released? My favorite types of movies to watch are comedy, Christian, family-type movies, documentaries, family movies

No I am finding Netflix's quality to take a hit. I prefer the platform (love the fast forward by frame ability) but they need to work on less / higher quality.
And I am getting sick of the crud from Korea.

Amazon Prime seems to get more recent releases then Netflix. You're better off renting from Amazon or iTunes if you don't want to wait, but it's usually about $6 each movie.

Netflix has a great selection of TV shows, both American and otherwise, but their selection of recent movies is pretty sparse. AmazonPrime's selection is much better, if you're looking for movies.

I enjoy Netflix more for their original movies. I pick HBO for the recently released movies.

I've been with Netflix since 2005, and they have never been good with recently released movies.

I totally disagree. I tried to watch an Amazon Prime original movie this week with decent actors too ( Kate Winslet and Liam Hemsworth) worst movie I have ever attempted to watch in my life. I couldn't get passed 20 min. It was seriously whack.

Can you name 3-5 good movies put out by Amazon Prime.????? I have watched a few Netflix originals that were fair.

Amazon Prime I'd say is much better than Netflix, in the sense that they have a lot more content that I have actually heard of. Netflix has all this stuff on I haven't even heard, of and every time I take a chance on something new, that they have to offer, it sucks.

I'm very surprised that it's more popular than prime. As for naming 3-5 good movies that they have on prime, I just glanced at their catalog, and could name 5. Whiplash, Titanic, Catch Me If You Can, Saving Private Ryan, Gattaca, etc.

Personally I like 'Gomovies.com and 123movies.com.

They have just about every movie ever made, MUCH MUCH more than netflix or prime, plus its totally free.

The only catch is, you have to sit thru a short commercial before the movie plays.

**There has been some debate on whether these sites are legal or not, but from what ive seen, they are legal, in that they are showing commercial ads before the movies, if it were bootleg, advertisers would not be involved.
