Thank you for sharing wonderful photos !

El Ferrol, Spain is where my maternal grandfather was born, raised. Came to America around the Horn of Good Hope?, before the Panama Canal was built. Married my grandmother in San Francisco. He taught my Mom Spanish. Years later, on a tour of Spain, she spoke like a native ! Unfortunately, did not get to El Ferrol.

Again, thank you for sharing.

There’s more to Spain than Andalusia.

It was the first time I saw topless women on public beaches and bottomless men on hotel terraces.

Good things about the trip were seeing Seville, the Alhambra, Marbella, and going to Morocco. The food in Spain was delicious, a bottle of restaurant wine cost 90 cents, the merchandise was cheap and it didn't get dark until 10:30 p.m. It was very relaxing because nobody in Spain rushes to do anything and you are forced to slow down, you have no choice.
We owned an apartment (condo) in Marbella for a few years and my wife had her wallet taken out of her purse in a store in Malaga but she caught the woman who threw the wallet down and hurried off.

I really enjoyed Spain, it's a first world nation that is safer, cheaper, has better food, and has a better climate than most of the USA. In Europe, probably only Portugal is a better overall country to emigrate or retire to.

In my opinion Costa del Sol, Ibiza, Teneriffe and to some extent Tallinn and Thailand are clogged with British soccer fans.

While intellectually I can't argue, emotionally... "Soy Gitano y vengo a tu casamiento..."

One day I'll get to visit Galicia, until then just gushing over videos and photos online.
