I am sharing a link to to anyone who may be interested in volunteering with COVID vaccinations in Fairbanks. This is for continuing mass vaccination events run by the Public Health Department. I have volunteered at most of their events over the last several months.

https://www.fairbanksacc.org/#:~:tex...%20all%20kinds.

It has been a good way to grab a vaccination for yourself with any extra doses available although now Alaska has opened vaccinations to all age groups and is leading with per capita vaccinations delivered.

Sign ups for volunteers are split into half days. The first 30 minutes- 1 hour is a safety brief and train up for the activity that you sign up for.

Thank you so much for volunteering and for sharing the link! While I would want to be there whether it was my job or not, I am a "voluntold," so - small world!

The link posted above will take you to the website for the larger Fairbanks Area Citizen Corps, who does a lot of great work for our community. This one will take you directly to our clinics and dates that we need volunteers:

https://www.fairbanksacc.org/

A lot of our folks work or volunteer at every clinic, so we are experiencing burnout and we need new faces to help carry the work forward.

Here is the link to register for an appointment to get vaccinated. At the time of this writing there are no appointments available at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks, but we post new clinics on Thursdays at or around noon.
