Does she look like the average 31 year old? I think she looks much older than what she is but maybe this is what most 31 year old women look like. Not sure. I just hope I wind up looking younger when I get to that age

Sometimes she looks a little "tired." She probably doesn't get enough sleep. Or eat on a regular schedule due to her obligations (she lost quite a bit of weight right after she got married.) Rapid weight loss can make you look a little tired.

Get your sleep, stay hydrated, eat your veggies and use sunscreen. You'll be fine.

Her face is slightly gaunt. And yes, her face has matured.

She looks around 29 - 31 to me. But I've never really been good at guessing people's age.

I think she looks her age. Until I was middle-age, people thought I was much younger, then, a major illness appeared and since then no one thinks I'm anything but, what I am. I've read the fifties decade is when a woman's beauty begins to fade. Of course, there are exceptions.

Her eye make-up is too heavy, which I think ages her. (Otherwise, I think she's absolutely beautiful!)

She dresses like an older woman. I think that's probably due to pressure from the royal family. I think that makes her look older than her true age.

I think Kate is a beautiful woman, and like Princess Di, she's definitely going to better the royal gene pool!

That being said, I think she has become too thin, and I also think that she (and her mother and sister) don't seem to have the sort of skin and bone structure that remains youthful looking for a very long time. Unfortunate for them, because they all have very good figures and wear their clothes well - but their faces look drawn and a bit haggard.

I have always carried a few extra pounds (not fat, just not thin). Before I went into my forties, I thought this was awful, and I didn't like my curves and round baby face. Now that I am in my early fifties, I realize how much I appreciate that trait in my family, especially in the face. A little body fat keeps the skin more soft, supple, and youthful.

I was thinking just today how much I'd rather look younger longer into middle age and beyond, than have a few short "glory years" and then lose my youthfulness.

Princess Di was thin but I think she had a lot better skin than Kate. I'm not sure that Kate can do much about this, other than to fatten up a little, and wear less heavy eye makeup.
