I remember dancing with my mom at my wedding back in 87 to Joe Cocker's You Are So Beautiful. Wow! was I ever so proud to be dancing with her at that time, in that place. I'm sure you'll find the right song. Hope it's a great day!

"Mama said there'd be days like this, Mama said". Oldie but definite goodie by the Shirelles. I recommend it!

Sorry, I hate sappy wedding songs, I would go for humor, it will me more memorable. That said, the song to play while dancing with your son:

"She's a lady" Tom Jones

or to really throw people off:

"Wild Thing" Tone-loc

My wife and I put the humor into our first dance which was to Kermit the Frog singing Rainbow Connection. The dj didn't have a copy so we used her niece Kaitlin's record which was was so scratched that it sounded like bacon and eggs in a frying pan.

THE TWO BEST:
My hubby's choice "She believes in Me" Kenny Rogers

"Wind beneath my wings", while song by a woman, has a beautiful meaning

I also like, "In this Life" by Colin Raye

Last edited by Oobie119; 04-25-2008 at 07:29 AM.. Reason: song name
