I dunno, maybe everyone does this, but i had some original Tabasco sauce on ripe sliced tomatoes tonight and it was really really good.

I dont know if youd say it was wierd but pretzels and mustard are good. I also like canned asparagus wrapped in bologna or bacon.

Ok, I have to ask...I don't eat this, but my daughter had a friend make it for her and she keeps telling me how GREAT it is! YUK... Has anyone else eaten together... Fried chicken with a waffle or pancake and maple syrup???? Not only does it "sound" like it would not taste good together to me, it sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen! LOL Anyone else eating this combo?

Id have to pass on the waffle and syrup when eating fried chicken. And vice versa.
I have put scrambled eggs on my pancakes though, but no maple syrup.

I agree! I love fried egg over my pancake, hold the syrup. I like the yolk as my syrup.

Hot Chicken & waffles are definitely a must have!!!

I make my chicken hot (spicy) & then serve it up on the waffle & with syrup. Amazing combination & not weird at all...in the South at least.
