At the North American International Auto Show, Ford Motor Company introduced the 2011 Ford Focus and an exciting all eletric vehicle version that will compete with the Chevy Volt. It is just one of the exciting new vehicles for the sedan lineup at Ford that is increasingly moving towards striving to be a profitable company, a reliable car company (Ford leads US auto makers in reliabilty and continues to get better), and a fuel efficient company.

ALSO good news for Ford. The Fusion Hybrid won the 2010 Car of the Year Award and the Transit Connect won the 2010 Truck of the Year Award. This is the first time in 17 years the one car maker won both titles.

Until they bring back the 3 door hatch, revise the taillights on the h/b, and offer a SVT variant, I wont be buying the new Focus. The 2000-2004 MY were still the best, IMO.
