I posted under the regular Florida board, but I'll post this here too becuase I'm not sure where it really goes. Relocation to Ft. Lauderdale for single, 30 yr. old, no kids, adminstrative work? Difficult, dangerous (where to stay away from)? Thanks.

Also, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and West Palm Beach form one continuous metropolitan area. For any more questions you may have, I recomend checking the Miami forum.

Fort Lauderdale has a much larger anglo population than Miami and West Palm Beach is that matters, is safer (though still has areas you'd want to avoid), and is not too far from Miami depending on traffic. It is a large city with over 160,000 people living there. Based on what I've seen there is a large gay population in certain areas of it (east) and there's alot of traffic.
