Hey golf is golf to me. Unless you're a pro, who really cares.

Lots of executive COURSES in SW FL though, get used to them.

In the grand scheme of things you should be more concerned about the cost of homeowners insurance and property taxes...but that’s just me 2 cents *♀️

Myerlee was fun today, course wasn't in great shape so I'm glad we didn't pay a lot. Fun holes, better than other executives I've played (9th hole requires you to either smash it 290 or lay up from the tee and then hit over the water. 17th hole is only 89 yards but you have to walk over a little concrete bridge to get to the back tees and then hit 80 yards over water to the green and avoid the two bunkers.)

My Favs are Quail Run in Naples & Spanish Wells in Bonita for traditional championship golf courses and Lakewood for the Par 3/4 in South Naples.

If you want cheap but don't mind driving, Majestic in Lehigh is just fine.

Waiting until Off-season to get cheap rates at Esplanade, Raptor, and Bonita National. My son is now taking lessons at Stoneybrook, which has 6 tee boxes per hole. We will get some favorable rates there in the coming months the pro told us. (under $70/person).

The cost to the environment to golf is feeding the naturally occurring red tide in the Gulf of Mexico steroids....aka tons of fertilizers and pesticides that are used to keep the fake grass green which eventually get washed into the Gulf from our rainstorms.

Sorry I had to. Gulf courses of course aren't the only culprit, but boy how many thousands and thousands of pounds of pesticides and fertilizers do you think make their way into the Gulf of Mexico every year just from golf courses here in SWFL alone?
