I love this song. I wonder how much more business Goodwill and Salvation Army are getting now that this is "hot". I like that this is out and that its at the top of the charts because it really does shine a negative light on the overindulgence in the industry.

This song is the BEST. It's my anthem. "I call that getting tricked by a business..."

I heard about it from my 15 year old, because one of his friends sent it to him, saying it reminded them of him. He's the kid always wearing the cool vintage t-shirts and "hipster" stuff I find for him at the thrift shop.

just what I was going to post

My 18 yr old recently (the past year) joined me by starting going to thrift shops and she "came around". It's interesting to see how she relates herself to this song and how I became her trendsetter lol

I wear your grandad's clothes
I look incredible!
I'm in this big-azz coat
from that thrift store down the road...

Middle-age Frugal Threads Rap

I dress hip, you'd say I've got style,
My fashion statement? To be cool, look hot.
Don't need to charge, nor pay a pile
Screw the boutiques, why pay a lot?
Top brands? Love 'em. Not in denial
Love me some thrift store. Give it a shot!
