^^^^ and on second thought Kodeblue I might actually have to agree with you about Baltimore setting a trend, because in that video I'm hearing parts of the accent from the young Jersey kids and it sounds like they got it from Bmore. "Errrbody" and words like that.

I also want to point out that most New Yorkers don't sound like Paulie Walnuts, it was even like this before the wave of gentrification.

For some reason people have this misconception that we all have mafioso accents.

The first cities that comes to mind are Philly and Hampton Roads, Northern NJ

Baltimore was influenced by NYC, and the south, but I don't know of many cities influenced by NYC nowadays in the context that I'm referring to.

only NJans and Floridian transplants sound like New Yorkers so what you're hearing in other cities are probably transplants or you just cant discern different accents.
