I'd have to say colorado has all of them without the hunidty of the northeast some summer days. But the winters can depend on just how close to the moutain ranges you are really. If you like the alps area ;colorado is your stae. But of course I also have to say that the parts I like best are way too cold for this Texan for all year living.
LOL at the old posts saying that 90 is like hell. Yeah I'd do anything to have a high of 90 again. That's actually comfortable. It's been around 100 here for the past couple of days.
I read that many of you think new mexico is great because it has 4 seasons. It does, I can not deny that. We call them Summer, Fall, Winter and Wind.
The problem here in new mexico is water. I lost all of my landscaping due to the lack of rain water ( an freezing temps the last two winters) here in Albuquerque. 5 fully grown trees - all dead. If you want anything green, you have to pay huge water bills to get it. There are fall colors in Northern new mexico, however - There are at least 5 huge forrest fires every season due to lack of rain. THIS IS THE DESERT PEOPLE, greenery is a myth propogated by the wealthy here. I planted a small garden, 3 feet by 5 feet. It increased my water bill by $150 just to water that.
Yeah. North Carolina really does have 4 proper seasons. Because of the mountains, its weakest traditional season (Winter) gets a boost. That said, its four seasons seem to arrive right on schedule.

How much snow do you get? I don't think Charlotte gets anything more than an occasional dusting.
People are throwing out southern and even southwestern states which are nice but have too weak of winters imho. My personal picks are Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan. You get all 4 distinct seasons. Summer up here is more "summery" than winter is "wintry" down south. I personally need a cold winter. I did the whole mild but chilly southern winter thing and its pretty lame rarely having snow.

Yep. You get the cold, but very little snow.
