So I just got in from my early morning jog. DH was up - said "Go downstairs and look what's on the TV". The TV in the living room was on, and I thought it was something he wanted me to see. I said, "I can hear it, it's Sean Hannity, so what?" He said, "Go down and LOOK ON the TV." I did, and there was a big sign on the screen that said, "GRANDMA". While I was out, our daughter called with the news about her pregnancy test. She and son-in-law have been trying for over two YEARS to start a family (been seeing a specialist for fertility issues). I'm so EXCITED!!!!! She doesn't want me to tell anybody in the family yet, but I guess it's okay to broadcast it on the forum!!!! She suspected it - on top of being "late", she suddenly wanted tomato sandwiches this week, and that girl has always HATED raw tomatoes.

Awww, congratulations! I'm always happy to hear good news from people who have overcome fertility issues. Gosh, they seem so common nowadays.

Thaks, Mattie! She (my daughter) just told me she's been slathering MAYONNAISE on those tomato sandwiches. All her life, mayo made her gag (she was a Miracle Whip person). I wonder if that means twins?

Thanks, all! I still can't believe it, especially after the grim odds those kids were given. They have battled infertility and now, after two years of working with a specialist, it's finally paid off. They were at the point of looking into adoption...

My daughter is fertile, her DH had fertility problems.
