I am the grandmother of 4 - 2 of them live in Texas (I'm in AZ). Those 2 are about an hour and a half apart in SE TX - they are 6 months in age apart - being 5 years old now. The older of the 2 is from my son and ex-wife. His ex has hated me since the baby was born. She kept the child away from our side of the family for all of her baby and toddler years. Just found out that Grandaughter #1 is not only allowed to attend GD #2's 5th birthday party on Saturday - she gets to Spend the Night.
I am absolutely thrilled with this. I just wish I could be at that birthday party too.
