want to relocate to greenville area (Anderson: crime, employment, neighborhoods)

My family and I are interested in moving to greenville area. We have 3 children in elem and ms and would like to move to the best school district area. Any other info on housing, neighborhoods, areas to avoid (crime areas), employment prospects, etc. would be most appreciated.

I would suggest that until the thread starts moving that you also use the searh feature on the top blue bar and type in Greenville, SC. THere has been alot of discussion about Greenville that it should at least get you going with some answers...or just lead to more questions As I have posted before we too looked at Greenville after having moved to Fl for 11 years and back to NJ (BIG MISTAKE!!!!)....timing wasn't right for us but wonder what would have been had we gone....we did visit briefly and seemed to like it but there was just something we couldn't explain that had us wondering....Sometimes you can over analyze something too. Anyway the area we were mostly interested in was Anderson County...Wren, Concrete schools etc. Someone out there correct me if I'm wrong!....it was a few years back and things change. I am however getting the Greenville itch again (this is why I'm looking on this forum to help know if we should full steam ahead and just GO GO GO for it ....it couldn't be worse than Joisey ...and we have lived a Southern life in Tally and did enjoy it....so anyway good luck and research research research and than VISIT!.....
