I'm looking to take some pictures of my family & don't know the area too well. can anyone recommend a unique area to take pictures?

Last year we took pictures at the Rock Quarry. I'm hoping to find something a little more rustic - old - worn down. Or the opposite open - free - not many people.

Any suggestions (& directions) would be most helpful!! Thanks!!

Hagood Mill in Pickens immediately came to mind. It is located ~3 north of town on U.S.178.

Another idea is Campbell's Covered Bridge in northern Greenville County.

The Poinsett Bridge in northern Greenville County is also a great place.

I've never been to the first location, but the other two are nice. There have always been other people at these locations when I have gone to do photos, but if you can go during the week it will probably help cut down on the number of people there. You might even go for a drive in the country to see if you can spot an old rustic barn and then ask the owner if you can take photos there. I have done this a few times and no one has ever said no.
