Are there any decent MH parks in the Taylors/Greenville/Greer area? I know, most are not very desirable but are there any that are acceptable? Or better yet, a piece of land for rent to put a mobile home on?

I did come across Milford Manor in Taylors which doesn't look too bad.

Pebble Springs, located off Old Rutherford Road in Taylors, is a retirement community. Age restrictions exist.

Lash Estates, located on Strange Road in Taylors, is in a decent location in a desirable area.

Beckycat,
Perhaps you could call or visit some of the mobile home dealerships in the area. The salespeople would probably be very knowledgeable of what areas are nicer than others.
Many years ago I sold manufactured housing in eastern NC and I was familiar with a lot of the mobile home communities, as well as developments and land because we sold land/home packages.
Good luck!

Sunbelt(?) down across from Donaldson Center used to be nice. Back in the day (early to mid 90's) when I was delivering pizzas while in college, we'd deliver down there, and it was a fairly nice place, so far as mobile home parks go. In fact, I'd say it was top of the line so far as MH parks.

they won't let someone with a home older than X years move in, it has to be well maintained... https://goo.gl/maps/4zumJtZCVUE2

I know this sounds like backhanded compliments.. but.. This place was actually nicer than some apartment complexes.

Thanks, I will check it out. It does look very nice. I can't get a hold of anyone at Lash's.

I know of one place that I believe is for sale, if you are looking for land. It's not alot.. But it's down in Pelzer.

That trailer is no longer there, and I think the land is for sale. There's several plots down in that area, I think, that are available. That's the only one I know of that had a MH on it before.
