In addition, I understand Hotel Domestique is one of the finest hotels in GVL, any other similar high end hotels in GVL?

Been here in GVL for over a year but haven't spent much time downtown...
Mast General Store seems interesting, will check it out.

Downtown doesn't have sporting goods stores. Half Moon Outfitters has camping and other outdoors gear.

Yeah, you're right, I was not exact, I use "Greenville" loosely to include its vicinity like Travelers Rest.

I would consider the new Grand Bohemian Hotel to be fairly high-end, and it's right in downtown Greenville. Typical big sporting goods stores, such as Academy, Dick's, and Cabela's are found in the 'shopping district' on Woodruff Rd.
