My father passed away in 72 ( I was 27)

We farmed together and he still lived on the farm til death.

About once a week I have dreams of him relating to farming.
Some are realistic,some aren't.

Some have similarities to real events on the farm, some don't.

The dreams that don't seem realistic may instead, be symbolic. You may have to really dissect them to come up with the symbolism, but there's probably a message in there somewhere....

Is is common to dream of a mom or dad who has passed away? Has this happened to anyone else?

it has been over 3 years since mom was taken from my siblings and I, I dont know about them, but I dream about mom each and every day. I dream about dad about once a month.

I have dreams everynight about everything under the sun.

I am not one who believes they have meaning nor would I spend any time dissecting them

I always dream of my Granny. In a few days, it will make 1 year since she has passed. It's funny since one of my best dreams of her is on the computer (like always) and having a cigarette.. I was sitting on the couch and she was at her desk.. It was like any other day that we would be talking. She told me craziest joke and I woke up.. I woke up laughing and so happy that we had that talk.. Best dream so far!!!

My Mom passed last August and while I have dreamed a few times about her, last night was a shock. All I can say is "She was right there." It was so real. It made me cry. I woke up with my hands over my face and shaking. I have never had such a real dream before. I know she was telling me she is ok. I asked her, while alive, to give me a sign when she passed. This is just the first of many, I think.

My dad would be 104 this year. My mom would be 96. I wish that I did dream of these two wonderful people but alas, if I do dream, I haven't remembered a dream in years.
