I have two, actually - a suppressed 1911 and a KSG. I don't want to go deaf squeezing off a pistol inside the house, but if things get TOO serious, then the KSG's 14+1 load-out of 12 gauge should pretty much end the party.

Love my CZ-97B! Classy! It pretty much has replaced my 1911's as my go to .45 ACP. However, by CZ-75B, 9MM typically does nightstand duty. My back up is an Inland, USGI M1 Carbine. I don't want to set off a 5.56MM indoors as I like my hearing.

Glad we got more CZ97 fans here!
On the loud noise of 5.56mm I gotta agree. I think the 7.62X39 actually has less noise. But for indoor I think a Ruger 10/22 can be very lethal. Those little 22LR coming out of 16 inch barrel can do real damages on a bad guy.
Mossberg Shockwave in 20ga on the little ladies side and a 1911 Springfield EMP on mine. She can handle the 20 ga better with the birds head grip but it does come in a 12 too.
Custom 1911 Government model. She's my do it all from competition to home defense and everything in between. This pistol has been very finely tuned. I'm looking into a different set of grips as the ones currently on it are a tad wide for my complete liking. But they are pretty and serve well enough right now. I did have a set of Houge Coco Bolo grips on it that I was quite fond of but I put them on my son's 1911 as a present. This gun runs totally flawlessly and I have complete confidence in it to perform any task I require of it. Because it always has done so.

An M1 Carbine is a helluva home defense weapon . Short , light , very little recoil and a 20 rd mag full of Hornady Critical Defense rds .
