Sako.
SKB for the upland guns.
Benelli and Beretta.

I like what I like. If I had to look for a new shotgun I'd want another SKB. If looking for another rifle and it were in the budget another Sako.

Ditto the duck guns.

SxS or O/U for the SKB’s? I had a model 100 that I really liked.

I’m a SKB guy too, Model 90 SxS, 505 O/U, 585 O/U. The 505 vent rib was glued on and came off, took it to Nice Old Double Gun Works in Durham NC and had it soldered back on. Until then I thought Marlin L. C. Smiths were the only shotguns with glued on ribs. I also have a Sako FN High Power in H&H 375, which was very reasonably priced considering it included a useful scope.

Smith and Wesson has one place, Savage three, Ruger one, Llama one, and Stoeger one.

O/U's but a SxS is on the shopping list. I have one of the last made in Japan, a 28/.410 two barrel set that's my favorite. I did see some of the newer Turkish made ones and was really impressed. The ones I like to find are the older Ithaca's and the Weatherby branded ones after that.

Never knew about NODGW and he's close to me. I have a bent rib from an unfortunate spill in the woodcock woods. I might bring it by after the season closes.

What I like But not necessarily have:

Long guns:Tikka, Remington pump, older Ruger mdl 77's, Savage bolts (not Axis but 110,111, 116). I have a particular affinity to lever guns.

Wheel guns : S&W although I had a Ruger SP101 in .22LR but it was quirky. Had 2 nice Colts Diamondback and Python but they gone.

Semis: run the gamut in this house.

I have most all but no Japanese makers. When Browning went to Miroku from FN in the early 70's that really irked me, and I don't buy Japanese guns since. Not that there is anything wrong with them, I just don't want to buy them.

Now oddly enough I am perfectly OK with Japanese cars and motorcycles.

I'm trying to think of an American manufacturer not in my case. OK maybe Iver Johnson. A LOT of FN Brownings. Colt, S&W, you bet. Winchester, Remington, Savage, even Springfield Armory (the original government one) (and the current company for that matter)

OK, fair enough. All the high-class, high end manufacturers are represented.

Sometime I would like to give a Raven Arms gat a try, but, I am guessing it won't be up to my standards.
