Dove makes a flexible hold hairspray which is very light.

I just tried the Aussie Flexible Hold and it is great and a whole lot cheaper than the Sebastian Zero Gravity. Thanks!

I may sound old fashioned, but I love Aqua Net (all day hold). I've used this kind since my 20's (in my teens was spritzes and such). I don't use a lot either and it holds my hair in place naturally, not stiff at all either. I spray for 2-3 seconds and I'm good for all day.

My stylist sent me to Sally to get their brand in the red can. Works great!

Interesting reading these suggestions. I used to love Rave Microspray about 10 years ago, but they changed it or something, not as good. So, I found on by V05 in a red can, loved it, bought about 5 cans, then they discontinued it and I'm all out. Recently, I've tried several and don't like any.

I also have fine hair and need some spray - but they either don't hold enough, or are too "wet" and stiff, taking the style and body right back out of my hair.

So, I'm on a hairspray quest. Going to try the Aussie tomorrow...

I like L'oreal Elnett. You can buy it at Target and even Wal Mart. Probably the best hairspray in the world.

I have been using Sebastian Zero Gravity for many years. I thought it was high when I bought it but it was highly recommended so I tried it. I was hooked because I have fine hair and I loved how it made my hair look and feel without being heavy and stiff. Through the years,it has gradually went up higher and higher. I paid $23.00 for it in December. Wednesday it was up again to $29.99!!! I couldn’t hardly believe my eyes but I had a $3.50 off $15.00 coupon and $6.00 in rewards so I went ahead and bought it. However,I think that’s ridiculous and will not be paying that again! That’s why I came on here to see if anyone knew of one comparable but more reasonable and found there was already a thread about it. If this has happened to anyone else and you replaced Sebastian Zero Gravity with another one, which one did you get? Thanks!

I last posted in 2009. Now I use Freeze It hairspray for my fine straight thinning hair.
