Hi, first of all, I don't know if this is the right forum, if its not please move it to the appropriate forum.

I have Kaiser insurance, and I like it, sure it has its pros and cons, and I don't want this to turn into a discussion about the things people like/dislike about Kaiser, what I want to know is what happens if you need to move and trhere are no Kaisers in the state or area you have to move to?

Also, anyone know why Kaiser left the northeast and if they'll return?

Thanks.

I think you have to give it up and get something else.

Either that or you will be out of network with higher copays and out of pocket. Could get expensive if you need care. Sometimes employers with employees in multiple states offer non-Kaiser coverage for those in areas without access.

I don't know exactly what states are/were included, but I thought there was Kaiser coverage in the Mid-Atlantic Region. If they left, my guess would be they're not returning anytime soon.
